  • 4 cups chicken broth
  • 1/4 cup dry white wine
  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper
  • 1/4 cup Parmesan
  • 1/2 medium onion, chopped
  • Chopped chives, for garnish
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon butter
