Peppermint Semifreddo

INGREDIENTS

• 1/2 cup peppermint candies (divided), I like the vintage looking ones, and buy the ones made with natural dyes when I can find them.
• 1 1/2 cups heavy cream, chilled
• 3 large organic eggs, separated
• 1/2 cup granulated sugar (divided)
• 1/3 cup peppermint liquor
