DESCRIPTION

The traditional Kahlúa mudslide recipe is fairly straightforward. 1 part Kahlúa, 1 part ABSOLUT ® vodka, 1/2 part Irish cream, 1 part vanilla ice cream. Add ice and blend until frothy and delicious. Drizzle some chocolate syrup in the glass and pour to your heart’s content. In the spirit of their Summer Shake-Up campaign, I decided to create a dairy-free coconut mudslide using a dairy-free coconut frozen ice cream as well as making my own chocolate syrup. Certainly you can skip the chocolate syrup or use a store bought one, but trust me when I tell you the coconut chocolate syrup takes barely 5 minutes to make and is worth the minimal effort. You’ll have leftovers, so use it to drizzle over sundaes and cheesecake. I’m kind of obsessed with it actually!



INGREDIENTS

  • 1 pint Dairy-Free Coconut Milk Vanilla Ice Cream
  • 1/2 cup natural cocoa powder
  • 1/4 cup coconut milk
  • 1 tablespoon Kahlúa
  • 1/2 cup white granulated sugar
  • 1 cup Kahlúa
  • 1/2 cup ABSOLUT® vodka
  • 1/4 cup grated unsweetened coconut
  • 1/2 cup coconut milk
  • 1 standard tray of ice cubes
  • 1/4 cup Jameson Irish Whiskey
