- a pinch of salt
- 1 cup all purpose flour (120g)
- 2 1/2 packages of active dry yeast
- 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1 large egg beaten
- 9 tablespoons unsalted butter (130gr), at room temperature
- 2 teaspoons cinnamon
- 1/3 cup warm milk (not boiling)
- 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/4 cup warm water (60ml)
- 6 tablespoons of all purpose flour
- 1/2 cup pearl sugar (100-120gr) (*read the last paragraph of the instructions if you can't find it)
- 1 ounce of vanilla sugar (you can make your own by adding vanilla pods to normal sugar...) - optional
