INGREDIENTS

• 2 cups all-purpose flour
• 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
• 3/4 teaspoon salt
• 1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, room temperature
• 1 cup dark brown sugar, firmly packed
• 1/2 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
• 1 large egg
• 3/4 cup pitted coarsely chopped dried dates (about 5 ounces)
• 1/2 cup coarsely chopped dried apricots (about 3 ounces)
• 1/2 cup coarsely chopped pecans (about 2 1/2 ounces)
