- 1 1/4 cups warm water (105°F.)
- 3 large eggs beaten lightly
- 6 tablespoons granulated sugar
- 1 1/2 teaspoons salt
- 3 tablespoons cardamom seeds, ground in a mortar with a pestle, or in an electric spice/coffee grinder
- 2 tablespoons ground cinnamon
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
