- 1 lb fresh cherries, pitted and halved
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 3 tablespoons pure cane sugar
- pinch of sea salt
- 1 cup rolled oats (gluten free if needed)
- 1 cup almond meal
- 1/2 cup sliced almonds and/or walnuts
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon sea salt
- 1/3 cup maple syrup
- 1/3 cup coconut oil
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- serve with Greek yogurt, honey or maple syrup
