- 10 fresh or dried bay leaves 1 2/3 cups / 230g all-purpose flour 1 cup / 200 g granulated sugar 1 teaspoon aluminum-free baking powder 1/2 teaspoon fine grain sea salt 3 large eggs, at room temperature 1/2 cup / 125 g sour cream finely grated zest of one
- Orange Glaze: 1 cup / 140 g powdered sugar 1 1/2 - 2 1/2 tablespoons orange juice 1 teaspoon orange liquor, such as Grand Mariner or Cointreau (optional)
