- 1 onion, minced
- 2 stalks celery, diced
- 1/2 cup sliced mushrooms
- 1 cup diced apple
- 1/2 cup beef broth
- 1 cup light cream
- 1 cup milk
- 2 tablespoons cornstarch
- 2 tablespoons cold water
- salt
- 2 cups diced cooked chicken
