  • 1/3 cup sucanat
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons ener-g baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon sea salt
  • 3/4 cup dates, chopped (or raisins)
  • 1/4 cup applesauce (or vegetable oil)
  • 1 1/4 cups water
  • 1/4 cup molasses
  • 2 teaspoons maple flavoring (optional)
