DESCRIPTION
I LOVE this recipe! These are the most fantastic meatballs ever. They don't need sauce (but are great with it). From my hero, Alton Brown.
INGREDIENTS
- 1/2 lb ground pork
- 1/2 lb ground lamb
- 1/2 lb ground round
- 5 ounces frozen spinach, thawed and drained thoroughly
- 1/2 cup finely grated fresh parmesan cheese
- 1 whole egg
- 1 1/2 teaspoons dried basil
- 1 1/2 teaspoons dried parsley
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon kosher salt
- 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- 1/2 cup fresh breadcrumb, divided (I needed about 1 cup total)
