  • 2 skinless, boneless chicken breasts, halved lengthwise
  • 3 ghee (clarified butter) or vegetable oil
  • 3/4 chopped fresh cilantro plus sprigs for garnish
  • 4 finely grated peeled ginger
  • 4 ground turmeric
  • 6 cardamom pods, crushed
  • 6 garlic cloves, finely grated
  • Steamed basmati rice (for serving)
