INGREDIENTS

• 12 ounces green beans, trimmed
• 1 1/2 cups instant flour, such as Wondra
• 2 tablespoons ketchup

• 1/3 cup peach jam
• 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
• 4 1/4-inch-thick boneless pork loin chops (about 1 pound), trimmed
• 1 tablespoon plus 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
• Vegetable oil, for frying
• 1 teaspoon baking powder
• 2 tablespoons cold unsalted butter, cut into small pieces
