  • Cinnamon, for sprinkling
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • Special equipment: 10-inch ovenproof non-stick frying pan
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 2 tablespoons oat flour
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
  • 2 large apples, peeled and grated (recommended: Golden Delicious)
  • 4 ounces buttermilk
  • Powdered sugar, for sprinkling
  • 1/2 teaspoon freshly ground nutmeg
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • Serving suggestion: Maple, Apple Cider and Nutmeg syrups
  • 4 tablespoons walnuts, chopped
