Mum's Special Scones

This is my mum's recipe for a light Scottish scones. They're always a winner.

Ingredients

• 1 egg
• 1 egg (or a little milk to glaze)
• 1 teaspoon baking powder
• 142 ml milk (less than 142ml)
• 225 g self raising flour
• 28 g caster sugar
• 57 g butter (or Soft Margarine)
