- 1/4 cup sliced green onion

- 1 1/3 cups long grain rice
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon garam masala
- 1/8 teaspoon ground red pepper
- 1 garlic clove, minced
- 2 2/3 cups water
