- 1 cup carrot, sliced
- 1/2 cup onion, chopped
- 1 cup dried lentils
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 bay leaf
- 2 cups chicken stock
- 1 Tomato, peeled and chopped
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
