DESCRIPTION
This recipe makes very juicy beef burgers, which are easy to make. The mixture is quite moist. We have them as part of a selection of meats when Bar-B-Queing. Cook them on a hot flat oiled plate or cook in a frypan indoors. This comes from a Rotary Cookbook from District 994.
INGREDIENTS
- 500 g lean ground beef (beef mince in N Z)
- 150 g sour cream
- 1 egg
- 1 onion (grated or chopped very finely)
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon green herb stock powder (I use Maggi green herb stock but you could use onion or beef stock if this is not available)
- ground black pepper
- 1 teaspoon crushed garlic (optional)
- 1/2 cup cornflour
