- 1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter
- 8 ounces chanterelle mushrooms, trimmed and thinly sliced
- 1 teaspoon sea salt, plus more for cooking pasta
- 1/2 cup water (optional)
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh flat-leaf parsley
