Homemade Pasta Sauce - Ragu Recipe with Tomato and Sausage

INGREDIENTS

• 3 1/2 lbs. fresh roma tomatoes (plum tomatoes)
• 1 lb. italian sausage
• 2 Tb. butter
• 2 onions, chopped
• 6 garlic cloves, minced
• 1 bunch fresh basil leaves, chopped (1 cup)
• 1/2 cup red wine
• 2 Tb. tomato paste
• Salt and pepper
• 1 lb. Delallo Pasta (I used Whole Wheat Rigatoni)
