• 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
• ¾ cup + 1 tablespoon buttermilk
• 9 tablespoons unsalted butter, softened
• 3 tablespoons Irish whiskey (reserved from soaking the raisins)
• 1 tablespoon granulated sugar
