• 6 oz. fresh plain goat cheese,
• Freshly ground white pepper, to taste
• Olive oil, as needed
• 1⁄2 cup finely chopped smoked salmon, packed
• 1⁄2 baguette, cut into slices 1⁄4 inch thick
