The Hairy Bikers' meat loaf with gravy recipe

INGREDIENTS

• 1 sunflower or corn oil
• tbsp medium onion, finely chopped
• 1 medium carrot, peeled and diced
• 1 celery stick, trimmed and diced
• 1 garlic cloves, crushed
• 2 hot chilli powder
• 1.5 dried thyme or 1 tbsp freshly chopped thyme leaves
• tsp lean minced beef
• 1 minced pork
• tsp good quality sausage meat
• 300 tomato ketchup
• g Worcestershire sauce
• 300 fresh white breadcrumbs
• g small bunch (around 20g) flat leaf parsley, leaves chopped
• 450 large egg, beaten
• g fine sea salt
• 7 dark brown sugar
• tbsp freshly ground black pepper
• 2 plain flour
• tbsp beef or pork stock (fresh or made up)
• 75 tomato ketchup
